Part Usage

As a complement to the function Parts Identification, you can use the function Parts Usage of the ProKat system to determine in which vehicles a part can be installed.

This includes both original parts and aftermarket articles. In this way, you can use not only the OE part numbers (e.g. from reference data) but also the specific article numbers which are, for example, on the packaging or on the part itself to determine the vehicles. The respective article numbers of the manufacturers as well as any existing EAN (GTIN) or usage numbers can be used.

In addition to the list of vehicle models, restrictive criteria such as manufacturing dates, engines, variants, or equipment can be called up in detail for each assignment.

Examples

Oil filter of Febi Bilstein

For a Febi Bilstein engine oil filter, vehicle listings are to be added. The article number of Febi Bilstein can be found on the packaging and on the filter itself, see figure below. This is the starting point for the identification.

If required, the direct article query can be used to obtain information about other data, in particular, the properties of the part.
